Interiors - Techniques Employed
We are able to construct these unique
environments using a wooden frame constructed inside the structure;
building a mock of the structures frame fixed to the walls, gable
ends and roof. Fabric is then used to cover the wood frame and
pulled tightly by hand to give a taught finish.
All interiors are made on site or made
pre-event within our lining department and taken to the event,
allowing for the creation of various finishes. These can be flat or
gathered walls, roofs can be covered with flat or gathered
linings and they can all come in one or more of our 31 different colours.
We are even able to dye the fabric to match a particular pantone.
Dance floors can be turned from
traditional wooden parquet into a mirrored or coloured area.
Skirting boards can also be installed to really complete the look,
and windows and doors can be dressed with curtains or drapes.
Large folding doors can be installed
across a structure to provide two separate rooms. This can be most
useful when a structure is being used for multiple events with
different numbers.
All materials conform to EEC fire and
safety regulations and new fabric is used for every job we do,
maintaining the high quality standards our clients expect from GL
events Owen Brown.
